Portrait of Léa, founder of LMP Atelier

I was born in Miami, Florida, to French parents and grew up between different countries, cultures and languages. Today, I work fluently in English, French and Spanish, something especially meaningful in a city as international as Dubai, where being understood can make all the difference.

With a BSc in Psychology and Nutrition, alongside professional training in Personal Training and Pilates, my approach considers both the body and the person within it. I began by working with women who had never felt comfortable in a gym, women returning to movement after childbirth and those who had simply stopped feeling connected to their bodies.

Since then, I have supported postpartum mothers, women returning to movement after chemotherapy, and women living with PCOS and every stage of endometriosis. These experiences have reinforced the importance of meeting each woman where she is and adapting movement to her body, circumstances and everyday life.

My own relationship with movement has not always been straightforward.

Living with endometriosis, losing my period, and later experiencing septic shock changed the way I understood health, strength and recovery. I learned first-hand that wellbeing is not about constantly doing more, training harder or pushing through every signal your body gives you.

After becoming seriously unwell, I had to rebuild from the ground up — regaining strength, reconnecting with my core, restoring confidence in my body and learning how to move in a way that felt supportive rather than punishing.

That experience deepened what endometriosis had already taught me: that a woman’s body can change, fluctuate and ask for different things at different times. Progress is not always linear, and strength does not always mean pushing harder.

Learning to work with my body rather than against it shaped the way I train and the way I support other women — knowing when to challenge, when to adapt, when to rebuild and when to listen.

It is also why I care so deeply about helping women feel like themselves beyond a diagnosis, a postpartum body, a difficult season or a number on a scale. My approach is centred around strength, movement, nutrition and everyday wellbeing, but always with the woman at the centre of it all.

Because sometimes becoming stronger is not about doing more.

Sometimes it is about learning how to trust your body again.

This is the philosophy behind LMP Atelier: movement should meet you where you are. Every woman arrives with a different body, history and life, and her programme should reflect that. My role is to understand the individual in front of me and create an approach that feels considered, realistic and genuinely personal.

LMP Atelier is a women's wellness practice first. Postpartum and endometriosis-aware movement are specialisations within it, held with genuine understanding but never treated as a woman's entire identity.

More than anything, I believe movement is about far more than changing how your body looks. It is about discovering who you are through a deeper connection with your body, learning its strength, understanding its needs and feeling at home within yourself. That is what I hope every woman finds at LMP Atelier.

“I don't reduce a woman to her circumstances. I support the woman within them.”
